Julie Gatewood

On numerous occasions Julie is specifically named in thank you and recognition letters.  In the midst of all the bells and whistles of a busy critical care unit, (physicians rushing in and out, patients crying out, anxious families), I can often hear a soft voice reassuring a patient or family member as they experience perhaps on of the worst days of their lives.  That voice belongs to Julie.  Julie is confident, compassionate, competent, caring, kind, gentle, intelligent, thoughtful and truly a wonderful coworker.

From a Patient:

Dear Julie, I know it must be difficult to care for a member of the Mease family.  Thank you for the respect and kindness you gave my husband.  Thank you for the hope and compassion you gave my family.  You are the heart and pride my husband had in the Mease community.
