Kandi Shaw
"She made me feel safe. She was so patient and I never felt rushed. She's an excellent nurse!" This patient was referring to Kandi Shaw. Kandi receives numerous compliments for her patient care and her ability to have difficult conversations with staff, patients, families, and physicians. She serves as a clinical coach, is a member of our unit-based Professional Practice Council, and participated in our unit's Leadership Academy last year. She also actively participates in unit fundraisers for the AHA Heartwalk and Trident United Way. In her "free time", Kandi is studying for her specialty certification exam.
