“Kim kept us informed of changes made in my mom’s care, and explained everything to us about Mother’s condition and what to expect while on floor.  She was always available to answer family questions and was very understanding of my father’s concerns as well. If any questions came up regarding medications, she quickly checked, clarified, and let us know the outcome of what she found out for us.  Kim was caring, efficient, responded to my mother (patient) and father’s needs like they were her own parents.  I can’t thank her enough!  Also, the other nursing staff involved in my Mother’s care was great, but Kim stood far above the rest.  Thank you, Kim, for your care and compassion.  You are our DAISY nurse!”

“This note is very late; however, the subject is still the same.  My husband had surgery at North Fulton last year. He was a very sick man and was in ICU for about 4 days before he moved to the Cardiac Ward.  A nurse by the name of Kim Shae took care of him.  She is awesome!!!  She is very efficient, caring, and sympathetic.  The excellent care she gave to him was wonderful, and my husband was so happy to be in her care.  He still tears up when he talks about her.  Please see that she is noticed and commended for her excellent work as a nurse!”
