Kimberly Barnes

Dear Kimberly, More than likely you don’t remember me since you see countless patients each week. But I will always remember you. On March 28, I came to the ER in pain and agony. You showed compassion towards me and even held my hand as I cried like a small child after the doctor told me he couldn’t find anything wrong with me. A few days later I found out that my gallbladder was functioning at 11 %! And just as you predicted, on April 8 I had my gallbladder removed. It was my first surgery EVER! The surgery was a great success with Hunter Jennings as the surgeon. Thank you for believing me and treating me with kindness. I am back to my old self again and I’m very thankful for nurses such as yourself. Those who consider themselves to be a part of the solution in “their” patients’ lives. Thank you for caring. I’m sure you have rough days, but when those days come please remember that you make a difference! Thank you, AH
