Laura Christman
Laura Christman, RN, BA, IBCLC, RLC is our October 2011 winner for our ambulatory staff. Laura has been with Carle for 18 years. She currently works in the Breast Feeding Clinic. She was nominated by a patient who said:
When reading the qualifications for this award, Laura was the first person that came to mind! I have a baby who has been in the NICU here at Carle for nearly 15 weeks. I come in and see Laura a lot. I have been fighting an infection for many weeks and Laura is always so helpful every time I go in. She even kept the breast feeding clinic open late one night so she could help me out. She is always so kind and has listened to me vent many times. She has been a huge help to me. She goes above and beyond her typical duties to research the meds I've been on. She is an Angel!
