Laura Feigen

Laura is very deserving of the DAISY award, according to a fellow nurse who nominated her. “Laura is an incredibly passionate ER nurse who makes an extra effort every day to provide the best care for her patients, as well as a resource to her coworkers and very often to nurses and medics in training. Laura was caring for a child who was injured in a car accident and had a poor prognosis. She did everything she could to ensure a good outcome. She had the family around the bedside and was there with them while they were absorbing the trauma their child had gone through. She cared for the child and provided support for the parents. Her presence is calm and gentle. It is the essence of ER nursing.”
