Leah Hollaway
A patient who had been hospitalized for three days was tearful and worried about his beloved dog. Leah took the initiative to locate the pet visitation policy, contact the physician, and obtain an order that it was okay for the patient to go downstairs, accompanied by staff and visit his dog. Leah went out of her way to set up this visitation which occurred the next day. Leah’s compassion for patients, their family, friends, and even their pets is outstanding!
