I nominate Leo Johnson, RN, as a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award. The patient and his spouse have had previous admissions before having Leo as their nurse. They were impressed with the attitude and professionalism of Leo. “You can tell he loves his job and was meant for this work. His patience with explaining what was going to happen and why it was happening and what to expect was thorough and awesome. He explained everything and relieved our stress. You can tell with Leo, this is more than a job, it is his calling.”
