Libby Avery
On February 1, 2011, I suffered a miscarriage. This was one of the most severe and debilitating times of my life. Upon arriving at MVH, I met Libby who was to be my nurse during my recovery time. Libby Avery was the most compassionate, giving, relatable nurses I have experienced in my life. She made this experience so much easier to bear. She was by my side and by my family’s side the entire time we were at MVH. She deserves the highest award MVH has to offer their nurses. Her kind and genuine spirit will stay in my heart forever.
