Linda Gavlin
Linda Gavlin, BSN, CCRN is a staff nurse in Neuro Intensive Care. She has worked at Hinsdale Hospital for a total of 17 years on and off since 1990. Linda is being recognized for her work with Computerized Physician (CPOE). Linda was one of the key educators to help initiate this order entry system which provides additional safeguards in medical care. Linda provided training to nursing staff as well as physicians during a time of challenges. Her level-headed demeanor and persistence was well-appreciated. Linda continues to provide daily problem solving as the roving expert.
