I would like nominate Lisa Maes for the DAISY Award because she is a very special person. Lisa always wears a smile and is joy to work with. She is a very kind hearted person and cares deeply for her patients.

Over the weekend we had a homeless patient on the unit who was to be discharged the next day and Lisa took it upon herself to go and buy the patient clothes, socks, shoes, and thermal underwear for him to take with him because his clothes were cut off in the emergency room and he did not have any other clothes to wear. This is not the only time Lisa has done this. I know of at least one other time in which she has done the exact same thing.

Lisa is a very caring person and I feel she is very deserving of the DAISY award.
