Lisa Williams-Peace

Lisa William-Peace became part of Jersey City Medical Center’s team in 2006 when she started working in our telemetry unit. Lisa then transferred to the critical care division in January 2008 and has recently obtained her Bachelors degree in nursing.

Lisa always strives to provide patients with the best care. Lisa also goes out of her way to comfort and care for patients and their families even if they are not directly under her care.

Lisa is JCMC’s May DAISY winner an excerpt from her DAISY nomination reads… “Patient’s cousin was difficult to comfort. Lisa took a bible and hugging the visitor read scriptures with her, praying over the deceased. Although this was not her patient, Lisa created a spiritual bond with the patient’s cousin…”
