Lois Leatherman

Lois works for Branch 114 (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and has been an employee with MSN for over 10 years. She is currently working at one of our OneSource clients, Jupiter Medical Center, in Jupiter, Florida. In addition to outstanding clinical evaluations from her clients, several comments were submitted by nurse managers as well as the Interim CNO at the facility:

Clinically, Lois’s skills are superior and she can handle emergencies in stride. She always collaborates with the other healthcare disciplines in order for a better outcome for her patients. Lois is willing to float to all areas of the hospital and is recognized by the team members at Jupiter Medical Center as a great asset to the institution. Her personality is calming to her patients and families, and she is always in good spirits!”

Ethel Dam, Branch Manager for branch 114 stated that “Lois is an excellent nurse who was hired on 10/2/2001. She readily gives her availability on a weekly basis and is very flexible with clients to meet their needs. She willingly accepts additional shifts when the client requests assistance and they always want her back due to the excellent care that she gives.”

On April 12th in a surprise ceremony at Jupiter Hospital, Lois was presented with her DAISY Award Certificate, DAISY pin and Healer’s Touch Sculpture.  Members of the Jupiter nursing staff were present to help celebrate the special occasion.
