Lois Snyder
Lois Snyder, RN in our Labor & Delivery unit was nominated by a patient. In the nomination, the patient described meeting Lois and the incredible support she provided during the birth of her children. “The nurses and doctors were so kind and wonderful, but Lois stood out in the crowd,” the woman wrote. “She took such good care of me, both mentally and physically.” In March 2011, when the woman gave birth to a baby girl, Lois was at her side. “She was my absolute rock all through that night. She is wonderful and a kind woman who I hold dear to my heart,” the patient wrote. “She helped both my husband and me with humor, strength and kindness.”
