Lucinda Stancato

Lucy received two recognition cards regarding the same situation - one from the physician and one from the patient.  She is truly a great critical thinker with great assessment skills.

Physician Comments:  Patient returned from PACU.  Lucinda quickly recognized that the patient was unstable.  She took appropriate measures to get the patient stable and back to surgery.  Great nursing skills!

Patient Comments: I had a hysterectomy and after surgery, I was bleeding internally.  Lucinda Stancato should be recognized for her outstanding job in being aware and on her toes.  My life was saved due to her and the staff that evening.  I hope that this staff is rewarded for an outstanding job.  My gratitude and love to them all.  If not for their compassion and quick response, I could have lost my life!  Thank you and God bless you all!
