Manan Parkih
Manan Parkih started working for JCMC in 2005, as an ER patient care tech. In May 2011, he started working as a staff RN on 7west. He is November’s DAISY winner. He was nominated by a patient’s daughter. The following are excerpts from the nomination. “From the moment Manan introduced himself, I knew he would be a great nurse that would be taking care of my mother this night. He had a sweet smile on his face… I felt as if he not only understands the compassionate aspect of hospice care but the medical condition afflicting my mother…My mother raised her hand to him and that was all it took to have a lasting impression on me”.
