Marcela Matutino
Marcela Matutino has been nominated as the winner of the DAISY award for the month of December. Her nominator remains anonymous. However, the nominator states Marcela goes above and beyond her duties as a nurse. In addition, she is very caring and makes certain all psych patients are treated with dignity and respect. Marcela Matutino has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. She obtained her BSN and worked 11 years in the middle east prior to coming to Jersey City Medical Center. She is also an active member of the New Jersey Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
