“There is not just one specific incident that makes Martha Martin a candidate for the DAISY Award.  Martha provides exceptional expertise in her care of her patients and their families on a daily basis.  But what makes her even more exceptional is her passion to teach, mentor and precept new RNs and student nurses.  Martha goes to great lengths to guide new nurses.  Student nurses ask to shadow her and are so grateful for her patience and knowledge.  It is with great honor that I submit this nomination for Martha Martin.”
