Mary Nielsen
Mary Nielsen was selected as the July DAISY winner at NCH. Mary was nominated for her 'above and beyond' help offered to a young man who happened to be at NCH as he was transporting a patient for therapy. The young man expressed a personal health concern and Mary facilitated obtaining care for him as well as support needed due to not having insurance. Mary’s willingness to care and help not only her patients, but all who she encounters, is why Mary is truly a DAISY nurse.
