Countless families have praised her for her caring words and actions, even though Menika might not be their nurse. She eased the anxiety of one devastated parent after her son was an emergency admit from pre-op. “I was very upset,” said the parent. “Menika, who was not even his nurse, gave me a hug and made me feel better.” Another parent appreciated her comforting words during a chaotic time.
