Monique LeClair

Monique has been a phenomenal nurse since the minute I was situated in my room.  I have been in the hospital 4 different times in the past six months.  She has made this visit much more bearable than any of the others because of her constant care.  You don’t find nurses like her anymore, who genuinely go above and beyond their required duties to please their patient.

When I was first being admitted, I was in a wheelchair due to an infection in my legs.  It was deeply upsetting to me and I was rather depressed at the time.  The minute Monique was in my presence as my nurse, she immediately lifted my spirit with her genuine smile and charisma.  No mater how busy she is (virtually running a mile a minute to please everyone), she always makes time for her patients with a smile and a joke or two.

She should be a model for all nurse care.  I definitely nominate her for the DAISY Award.
