Nancy Karthas
Nancy was the lucky nurse who received her DAISY award from Mark and Bonnie Barnes, founders of the DAISY Foundation during their visit to Children’s Hospital Boston last May. In her nomination Nancy is described by a family who has great appreciation for her excellent care: “I have known Nancy for 18 years. She has consistently gone above and beyond to help me and my children. She is a problem solver and has even helped me with problems I have asked her about that were not her responsibility. She is very supportive and always has an answer (and very right) she certainly has a great way with kids and their families.” Congratulations to Nancy!
