Peggy Finn

Peggy Finn was my nurse during my bout with cancer.  She saw me through radiation therapy and chemo therapy.  I was not the best patient because I was afraid that I was dying.  She comforted me with kind words and also words of strength.  She gave me the courage to take things one day at a time.  I took her advice and the days turned from weeks to months to years.  I had my bad days and I called Peggy about each odd bump or swelling or pain.  She would always call me back.

I truly appreciated her caring and understanding.  I remember Peggy because there were times that she was the only one to comfort me and she did!  I hope she is acknowledged for her gift of compassionate care to cancer patients like me.
