Peggy Healy, LPN III

Psychiatric Research Institute

UAMS, University of Arkansas

Little Rock, Arkansas

Peggy is committed to patient care, innovation and dedication to UAMS. She is a giving, caring, professional who is always looking for a way to help. Although she has only been an employee at UAMS for only 15 months, she has made a big impact.

Peggy has transformed the Substance Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) utilizing Evidence Based Practices. The implementation of the computerized software system that she began has improved the process of dosing for their patients. She organized gift basket sales to ensure PRI Patients (adults and children) had gifts for Christmas.

Peggy works well with others and has an unyielding energy. She is mission driven. She increased call volume of our 24/7 consultation line related to child psych by taking a struggling new program and moving it forward into a model that is now utilized by other programs across the nation.

These examples only serve to exemplify Peggy’s typical behavior each day. She doesn’t hesitate to go above and beyond her duties to extend outstanding and compassionate care to her patients.
