Renee Tellez
I was in severe pain and had IV pain meds ordered, Renee managed to get a 24 gauge IV in my thumb that gave me relief for 2 hours while I waited for a more permanent IV. She let me vent, cry, and get angry; then she channeled that anger into more positive thoughts, and encouraged guided imagery as a method of pain control. I don’t know how I would have gotten through this night if not for Renee.
