Roberta McGriff

Roberta has been employed at TMH for 32 years. She currently works in the Outpatient Surgery Unit as part of the pre-admit team. Roberta is responsible for calling patients prior to surgery to identify and mitigate risk related to the procedure and provide pre-operative education. Roberta performs her job exceptionally well as she has the ability to draw out important information about patients by actively listening to their comments and stories, their tone of voice and what might be happening in the background. Roberta’s colleagues report her documentation is “flawless”. They describe her as dependable, reliable, accountable, accurate and efficient. The pre-admit team has had a series of unfortunate events requiring colleagues to be away from work and through all of this Roberta has been the rock of the team, often staying late to complete the needed work and not complaining. Her colleagues say “Roberta is a positive representation of our organization and nursing practice in her everyday routine care of our patients”.
