Robin Poole

I would like to nominate Robin Poole for the DAISY Award. She exemplifies role model for all of those around her by going out of her way to help those in need.

While traveling out of town, Robin and her family came upon a vehicle which was stopped. They realized an accident had occurred and EMS has not arrived on scene yet. Robin stopped to help the family out. In one vehicle, a mom and her children were scared. Robin immediately went to the vehicle to find a 11 year old child pinned in the back seat. Robin attended to the child and noticed he was having a difficult time breathing. Robin began breathing for the child until EMS could arrive on scene and transported the child to the hospital. Robin’s compassion for others likely saved this child’s life.

Frequently, people do not stop when they see accidents or someone in need. We are all be proud of Robin for going out of her way to help a complete stranger. To this boy and family, Robin is a hero.
