Rose Argumedo

I am writing to let you know what a fantastic job Rose Argumedo, RN and the heart team did on my case last weekend (an emergent repair of an ascending aortic dissection on Saturday April 10). Needless to say, this is a very stressful emergent case with a great deal of complexity for the entire team.

Everything was available in extremely timely manner including complex instrumentation, multiple blood products and multiple medications. Everybody performed expeditiously and in expert fashion. The patient would likely have bled to death on the table had it not been for the actions of the team.

I am always pleased with the easy and effective functioning of the heart team at GAMC. A case like this shows why it is so important.
