Samantha Saelaw

Samantha is a Float Pool RN, working all over the hospital.  She’s been with John Muir Concord for nearly 13 years.

Samantha is nominated by family member, who wrote:

… “ my mother was scheduled for a [procedure]….  Upon arrival I’m pleased to inform you that we were assigned to the most affectionate, compassionate and professional nurse I have ever run in to - ever. My mother… had already built up a high level of anxiety prior to the procedure and needed someone to put her at ease.  And Sam did just that and more.  It’s always because of those special individuals that make huge impacts on people or patients in need of kind words.  Needless to say, those actions prompted me with my mom’s instructions to acknowledge Sam Saelaw as a nominee for the DAISY Award.
