Sandra Oakley
Sandra works with behavioral health patients. One of her Veterans had moved to the area. He suffered increased depression because he had no friends or social support. He was living a very reclusive existence. Sandra began calling him every day. She would gently remind him to take his medicine, encourage him to expand his activities and exercise. He now visits her and the clinic regularly. He states “she has saved my life and has gone above and beyond her job duties.”
