Olga was nominated by a patient's family member who had these kind words to say:
"Your entire hospital is full of outstanding and caring individuals. Our mother spent time on several floors, it is hard to identify each and everyone who touched her life or ours in some fashion. We do want to recognize Olga, the OR nurse who held my mom’s hand during surgery. Because of vascular issues mom needed to have a spinal for the surgery and thus was awake. Mom was quite concerned and nervous. Olga even took time from her busy schedule the next day to check on my mom. I wish you could have seen my mothers face when she saw Olga. Mom was so thankful that Olga had held her hand and kept her company during the surgery.
The care mom received at Trinitas contributed to her recovery and current quality of life.
For this Olga deserves the DAISY award".
