Recently, one of Carol's patients was given the news that the cancer she had been fighting had returned and spread throughout her body. The patients' long-term fiance decided that was the exact moment he would marry his sweetheart! He left the hospital to get a marriage license and Carol jumped into action to plan a wedding! In just a few short hours, she had the details worked out according to the wishes of the patient and with a BIG North team effort; the patient was able to marry the love of her life! Carol even walked her down the aisle of our fully decorated chapel! After the wedding, a reception was held complete with cake, punch, and lots of friends and family! Even the patients' doctor attended the festivities! Carol truly made this patients' dreams come true!
