Crystal Dos Reis

Crystal is one of the most conscientious and caring nurses working in the University Birthing Suites. Crystal provides excellent care to her patients. She always develops a good rapport with her patients and family members and is a constant patient advocate. She is always respectful, positive and compassionate to her co-workers, patients and families.

Crystal also does relief charge nurse duties, and has taken on these responsibilities with her usual excellence and dedication. She never refuses an assignment and frequently volunteers to take care of more challenging patients. What is unique about Crystal is that she always maintains a smile and friendly disposition, no matter how stressful the unit becomes. She shares an uplifting word with her co-workers and is always a wealth of encouragement.

Crystal is a preceptor to new graduates and employees. By being an excellent preceptor she promotes the nursing profession and maintains nursing's highest standards. Our nurses always give her the highest evaluation at the end of their preceptorship and verbalize their enthusiasm to be a nurse "just like Crystal".
