Cynthia Pompey
Cynthia displays passion and caring in every interaction she has with patients and family. Her dedication to patient safety is evident by her continued commitment to prevent skin breakdown in the hospital setting. Cynthia volunteered to be the floor "champion" regarding our pressure ulcer prevention efforts and at the organizational level participates every quarter in our skin care audits. She is compassionate and cares deeply about keeping all of our patients safe and well cared for. I have witnessed Cynthia go above and beyond for patients. She is a leader on the unit, and works diligently to ensure the safety of her patients. She has intervened countless times to prevent skin breakdown in patients. She is consulted frequently for her expertise. She participates in hospital wide quarterly assessments for pressure ulcers. She is intelligent, compassionate, dedicated, funny, and thorough - and we are so lucky to have her! She deserves recognition for her excellence.
