“It was time for the shift change and when Hanh came in to introduce herself, she noticed my PICC line was leaking.  She immediately said that’s a sign of a blood clot and disconnected everything.  She kept saying she was sorry, that this was protocol and off she went getting a hold of a doctor.  She continued to care for me and kept me updated at all times.  I had an ultrasound done and it showed a blood clot.  Because of her fast-moving decisions, I felt I was in good hands and she always reassured me that I would be OK, not to worry.  She even notified my family when I had to be moved to a different unit.

I will always be thankful for her quick decisions and the care and kindness she provided to me.”
