Hazel Basa
Nominated by the daughter of a patient, Hazel was able to provide hope in a seemingly hopeless situation. Thinking she would never share another moment with her mother, the daughter was crying by her mother’s bedside. She says that Hazel entered the room with such a gracious character and described her as a fresh ray of hope. She says Hazel took the time to explain the signs to look for in her mother to see that her personality was still there. Hazel truly epitomizes what the DAISY Award is all about, and we are proud to have her on our team! |
