Although Heather Hall has been a nurse for only 10 months, her compassionate care had quite an effect on the family that nominated her, who said Hall “went above and beyond”, and treated their son as if “he were the first baby she had ever cared for.”
Her care for this family meant even more, because their son was a surviving twin, and his parents were anxious and worried. The baby is now home and doing very well.
Heather is the first DAISY Award winner from the Riley NICU.
