James Cook

Our very first DAISY award winner, here at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center, is James Cook, RN.  James is one of the charge nurses in the Emergency Department. He was chosen by the nursing supervisors because he truly emulates the compassion and kindness that is so important to our patients and families.  He has often been seen supporting our families during difficult times and the nursing supervisors know they can count on James to make sure our patients and their families receive all the information and resources needed in the moment. James has a calm aura that is always around him and quickly spreads to our patients and families.  He is a quiet soul that families and patient naturally gravitate toward for support.  We are honored to have such an outstanding nurse working with our hospital team.
