John Yapp
John was nominated by a grateful patient who appreciated his warmth, kindness and compassion – plus his great sense of humor. John took extra time to answer questions, explain the patient’s heart condition, and describe each procedure beforehand so the patient and family wouldn’t be afraid. He even drew pictures to make concepts easier to understand. The patient’s final words to describe John were “I just loved him!”
