Katherine Cox
Katherine Cox was nominated by her co-workers: Kathy is awesome, kind, compassionate, efficient, organized, understanding, professional and detailed. She has superb clinical skills and is considerate and helpful to all of her co-workers. She took me under her wing when I was a 20 year old new grad working OB and taught me how nursing was meant to be. When she calls me in at 3 a.m. for surgery she quietly talks to me until she knows that I am awake. She always makes sure that I have all of the information that I need before a case and even has fed us when we have worked an extra long case. Kathy is always willing to assist us even when we are sure she is very busy keeping the entire hospital running smoothly! Kathy is calm and focused and I sleep better each night knowing the lives of our patients, staff and physicians are in her capable hands. Her calm and caring demeanor exemplify caring and the sacred work that she does each day to keep our hospital and patients safe and secure. God bless you for being the superb nurse that you are!
