Katy met the challenge and stood for what was right and showed us OSF values in action. My husband was admitted to third floor medical two weeks ago. During his 2nd night there, he started disentegrating before my eyes. Because of extremely challenging circumstances, I relied on Katy and her nursing skill to keep my husband alive. Her patience with both of us, her fight for us and my husband's welfare was amazing. She called two rapid interventions which I believe saved his live. Seeing her several nights later was like seeing a dear friend.
