Katrina Mc Cormack

"I was in Ambulatory Surgery on Friday, May 22, 2009 for a rather minor procedure. Unfortunately, there were complications associated with the pre-op procedure that created pain and hence anxiety for me prior to my surgery. The attending nurse and a new resident did not understand my concerns, however Katrina heard the discussion through the curtain, and came in and saved the day! She understood my concerns about experiencing further pain, and personally saw to it that they were addressed by the anesthesiologist. She held my hand and assured me that everything was going to be fine - and it was. I want to thank Katrina for exemplifying the best qualities a nurse |
