Kaye Dayken

Kaye is an outstanding nurse who cares deeply about patients and staff. Kaye loves to take care of patients. I think that since she works at night, she is not always recognized for the hard work that she does. One night in particular, we had a patient from another country that only wanted a certain type of soup to eat that was not provided by our dietary service. This patient was unwilling to try anything else and as a result had not eaten very much for several days. Kaye made some of the soup at home and brought it in for the patient a few times so that he would have something to eat. That is the kind of care that Kaye strives to achieve every time she works.
