Kimberly Schneider

Kimberly was presented with The DAISY Award because she is an extraordinary Family Nurse Practitioner who manages the medical issues of seriously ill psychiatric patients. She runs a Women's Health group on our Women's Behavioral Health Unit and is patient and willing to educate on issues related to wellness, healthcare options, medications, and medical conditions. She will stay with these women after group until all of their questions and concerns have been addressed. She is a tremendous resource to the behavioral health nurses working directly with patients. Kimberly receives consistently positive feedback from the patients who appreciate her kind and caring demeanor, as well as her sense of humor. They relax in her presence and are thus able to become more engaged and learn even more. Congratulations, Kimberly Schneider!
