Larry Gage

Larry Gage, CRNA went above and beyond his job description. He helped the RN get a patient ready for an urgent c-section from triage. He worked quickly and efficiently. He treated the patient with extreme sensitivity and completely put the patient’s anxiety and fear at rest. The patient truly relaxed in his presence during this unscheduled urgent c-section. He helped the RN by assuming many duties not usually required of the CRNA. He went to find a wheelchair off the unit and helped assist the patient into the wheelchair. He talked with and helped to calm the patient’s family. He administered the bicitra to the patient, gathered her hospital chart and paperwork (half of the chart was at the nurses station and half was in the patient’s room) and worked expediently. He was happy to help in any way possible to expedite the surgery the patient needed. He was a tremendous help to all of the members of the OR team. Larry is a true asset to Troy Beaumont.
