Lucian Lott
Lucian Lott, RN was honored with The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses for the month of December, 2009 at O.R. Nurses, Inc. The award, presented in collaboration with The American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), is part of the DAISY Foundation's program to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform everyday. Lucian was chosen as a DAISY Award Honoree because"he is always compassionate and caring with his patients". He continuously volunteers to come in early for morning cases to help prepare his patients for their surgeries. His supervisor notes that "Lucian always agrees to complete cases as needed without any questions". He is a "competent, dedicated, and compassionate nurse who is truly a pleasure to work with". His patients benefit from his clinical competency and appreciate the compassionate care they receive from him. Lucian was nominated by his supervisor at St. Francis Hospital, where he works in the O.R. |
