Marcella Valenzuela
Submitted for recognition by a colleague, Marcella’s nomination form included a copy of a thank-you note from a patient’s son. Marcella was praised for going beyond the call of duty when caring for his mother. Her giving nature, ever-present smile, and willingness to listen and sympathize were especially appreciated when things “really got tough in there.” Marcella’s colleague attached a message saying that “this is how Marcella consistently practices with all her patients.”
