Marian Santillan-Rabe

Marian has been with the FFACTS Clinic around 3 years. She has demonstrated a great leadership role in the Clinic. She worked diligently to regroup and reorganize the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care San Antonio Chapter to provide training on treating HIV affected patients to improve their quality of life. She has organized a Pap-a-thon to encourage FFACTS female patients to follow thru with their well-women exams . This program has expanded to include non-FFACTS female patients and has been received with a lot of fan fare. Upon providing proof of their annual well-women exams, they are provided a make-over at no cost to the patient. Women are pampered with massages, manicures, hair dressing and goodies from local merchants to promote a healthy life style. I would like to thank her for making the FFACTS Clinic more that just an HIV clinic but a clinic to help the women have a life and hope.
