Maribeth Rosario
Maribeth Rosario, RN on 6 Tower, was surprised and delighted to be this month’s DAISY honoree at Oakland Center. Maribeth was nominated by one of her colleagues because she continually goes that extra mile to “help others out when they need it. There is one instance when she came into work to pick up her schedule and she saw we were short staffed and stayed and worked in her street clothes.” Jolly Antony, Maribeth’s Manager, read her nomination and added that “Being an extraordinary nurse touches the lives of our patients daily, and often, our co-workers as well. When you pick up a heavy load for other nurses, it can make all the difference in how the day goes for that unit.”
