Mary Adams
Mary was nominated for a DAISY Award because of the compassion and tender loving care she showed to a terminally ill patient. The patient’s daughter wrote, “I can not thank you enough for giving my mom one of her last gifts. You gave her the gift of joy! When you placed her in the pink stretch chair and took her outside for a stroll, you gave her a sense of freedom. When I came into the room, my mom had such a glow of happiness. Now I can hold this moment of happiness in my heart. My mom passed away the following evening and I’m sure that she is also saying‘Thank you’ from heaven. Please continue to do what you do – make people happy. God Bless You!”
